Randall P. Stern (Founding Principal and Investment Committee Chairman)
Mr. Stern has more than 25 years of experience in lending and structuring leveraged acquisitions, subordinated debt and private equity. Since early 2006, Mr. Stern has been managing dedicated credit funds pursuant to Boone’s existing investment strategy. Prior thereto, Mr. Stern was Managing Director of Corporate Finance at Burnham Securities Inc. He was also a senior officer and served on the Credit Committee of the US merchant banking division of Den Norske Bank (now DnB Nor, Norway’s largest financial services group), spearheading its specialized lending group which provided senior and mezzanine loans for leveraged buyouts. Earlier, Mr. Stern underwent the credit training program and served as a lending officer at Chemical Bank (presently JP Morgan Chase). Mr. Stern received his BA from Middlebury College, graduating cum laude, and an MBA in Finance from the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business, graduating with honors.
